These are the ground rules for using playjar.cc. If you visit the site, you're agreeing to them. If you can't, please close the tab.
The games are not ours
Each game on Playjar is the property of its developer or publisher. We list and frame them under licensing agreements via our content partner, or we link out where embedding isn't permitted. We can't grant rights to anyone in any of these games and we don't claim to.
Any individual game can disappear from the site at any time — at the request of the rights holder, because our partner pulled it, because we changed our minds, or because it broke. We don't guarantee continued availability of any specific title.
What's ours: the writing and the site itself
Original writing, the design of the site, the way games are categorized, the selection itself — these are copyrighted by Playjar. You can quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. Republishing entire articles or scraping the catalog isn't permitted.
What you agree not to do
- Use Playjar for anything illegal
- Try to interfere with site operation (DoS-style traffic, scraping at scale, etc.)
- Run automation to interact with the site or the embedded games
- Attempt to break out of game iframes or modify their content
- Use the site to host or distribute content that violates anyone else's rights
Takedown procedure
Rights holders should send DMCA-style notices to [email protected]. A complete notice includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- The specific URL on Playjar where the material appears
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you're authorized to act for the rights holder
- Your physical or electronic signature
Acknowledged usually within 48 hours; removed once we've confirmed.
No warranties
Playjar is provided "as is". We don't promise it'll be online tomorrow, won't have bugs, won't display an ad you find irritating, or won't link to a game that breaks on your specific phone model. The games are run by third parties whose code we don't control.
Liability cap
To the fullest extent the law allows, Playjar is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from your use of the site.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you're accepting the new version. The "last updated" date at the top of this page is the source of truth for which version is current.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operating entity's location. Disputes go to good-faith correspondence first; if that fails, then to the appropriate courts.
